Earl, someone has to take the stand and call Eusebius's bluff.
I agree with Earl. Mountainman has argued that earlier Christian thought was invented in the fourth century. This is absurd. Calling the bluff of Eusebius does not justify the claim that he invented earlier writers.

It is good that Peter cites Earl's defence of Acharya, who has been widely criticised by apologists for her scholarly analysis of sun worship in Christianity. As Earl notes, Acharya's argument is evidence based.

You know, my list of Acharya's fabrications is growing every day. It's just tedious to verify whether it's fabrications and not - which is why posts are not as frequently forthcoming. Her books are evidence based? My ass! Her books are full of fabrications, mistranslations, lies, misunderstandings and stupidity.

Zwaarddijk, my previous examination of your critique of Acharya showed that you blew up tiny wording clarity issues into entirely false allegations of pseudoscience. Acharya is happy to discuss points of evidence. But when you present farcical assertions that reveal more about your bias and failure of comprehension than any real error on Acharya's part, you should not expect to be treated seriously.

I think you have made some good points about the origins of Indo-European language. However, when you link this material to sweeping slanders that show you fail to see the big picture, there is little point talking with you.

Your examinations were flawed. Please read the newer posts and you'll notice a fair share of stuff you haven't cared to comment on yet as well. If the big picture is made up of lies, the big picture too is very likely a lie.

In Acharya's book, it's apparent she barely knows what allegory is - she even thinks referring to feminine nouns by feminine pronouns in the Hebrew Bible is allegory, even when it's grammatically called for. She simply put is too ignorant about these things to be a credible source.

Your forgot quote mining ancient scholarships. Some of her information comes from he 1800's and very obscure scholarships.

Yes we have to at least give mountainman his due. He does more than drive-bys (drivebies?).

Yeah, I occasionally share info on mythology and mythicism here for those who are interested but, there's no point hanging around because an adult and objective conversation is not allowed here.
