Default Register of prenicene citations re: "christianity"

Register of purported Citations and/or Correspondence
between representatives of christianity and non-
christian representatives of contemporary government
in the pre-nicene epoch (000 to 325 CE).

Can anyone think of a more concise description for
the following tabulation? Essentially all I am trying
to achieve is the indexation of citations of contact
between christianity and the external world in the
early period. (ie: I am not concerned with intra-
christian communiques, or disputes between contending
heretics and mainstreamers)

It should be noted, as was dealt with in an earlier thread,
that all citations from the first century are treated as
fraudulent, or fictitious.

How about Acts? It is addressed to someone (Most Excellent Theophilus) in the form of an apology "explaining" the early history of Christianity.

It is undated, unfortunately, and we do not know who Theophilus was. As for date, I'd put it in early 2nd century, since I am inclined to agree with those who see reflections of Josephus's Antiquities (ca. 95 CE).

David, are you aware that mountainman's position is that all the ante-Nicene literature was forged/interpolated by Eusebius and Lactantius?

Stephen, are you aware that I have assumed this position in order
to satisfy myself that it can be refuted. I dont really like the idea
any better than you, or the next person, but the logic of the
situation demands a scholarly appraisal of the possibility that our
"dear friend" Eusebius, did not report to us the facts of antiquity.

Celsus to the second. What other citations exist in respect to the

Various letters of Paul to and from Seneca? I assume you want a list of everything including forgeries, and then we can sift those.

Does ECW cover this?

Edict of Milan is about religious tolerance - does it mention xianity?

That's roughly the idea. There should in theory be a finite list
of these citations capable of being indexed in a chronological
order such as the draft above.

The data is probably there but not specific to this "view"
which seeks to identify only the non-christian references
to christianity and/or the communications of christians to
the community of the Roman empire at large during the
pre-Nicene epoch.

This is just a brief chronological placemark for the appearance
of Constantine into the picture, no more at present.
