Manure springs to mind. But that is useful to make our veges grow. Theology is the study about nothing, therefore does not contribute to man in any way.

I spent one Christmas in Nepal. Except for a hotel employee going around dressed as Santa (for the benefit of us foreigners), it was indeed just another day there.

To call 1 Cor 13 slime or garbage says a lot about you. No doubt you find Hamlet trashy.
Speaking collectively of that overall garbage heap, However as in real life, In that mountan of human trash there are some things of value, some treasures worthy of being salvaged.
Personaly one of my favorites is The Book of fProverbs.
That however does not require me to eat up or swallow down everything, every saying or story that is to be found in those old books.

No doubt the authors of Proverbs were wise and had knowledge of human nature
above what was the norm for those days. On the other hand, what about Confucius and his true sayings. [ not was has been added since over the years]

Off topic, but this, IMHO, is the hands-down best interpretation of Santa ever:

Quote mine much?

How about the garbage that is 1 Cor 11:3 or 14:34-5 for wonderful ideas about womens rights or 7:29 for more prediction of the word ending so soon that its pointless to get hitched.

Is one good verse supposed to make the rest of it worthwhile?

'''Truly truly, I say to you, there are some standing here today, who will not taste death before the son of man comes in glory in the clouds of heaven'''. ~Jesus~ around 33 ad. :Cheeky:
