N.T. Wrong, for those of you unfamiliar with his reputation, is an anonymous "biblio-blogger" who caused quite a stir a couple of years ago. Unfortunately he stopped blogging at the beginning of 2009 and made his blog unavailable. Now however, he has opened the archives up again. It is well worth a read, both for the very learned insights and his disrespectful humour (see the fisting comment here.

There has been a lot of speculation as to his identity, but it still remains a mystery. My own opinion is that he must be an Australian or New Zealander. I base this on two pieces of evidence. He says "wank wank wank" here in the sense of "what a show-off", which is a very antipodian use of the word. He also knows who Michael Leunig is.

Squiz,

I just figured out it must be Rikk E Watts, Professor of New Testament @ Regent College, a graduate school in Vancouver, B.C., Canada, where he has been for over 12 years. His credentials are BSc (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology - Engineering Science), MA (Art History & Sociology), MDiv (Gordon-Conwell), PhD (Cambridge). His work experience prior to theology includes aerospace engineering and then systems engineering with IBM. He also had a stint running an outreach ministry to the homeless in Melbourne, Australia, and for a period supported his wife & kids as a professional drummer.

How do I know Rikk is N T Wrong? In your link to the fisting remark (in a biblioblog interview by the evil Jim West), it was the phrase "Emperor’s New Clothes." Compare this to "So, are the Emperor's clothes new or are they just the old invisible ones?" from Crosstalk2 introductory post 1/13/2000. Even more strong evidence is the phrase "Talk about hoist with your own petard," which relates to the phrase "the more scholars brandish their 'historian' credentials the more they get hung on their own petard" in a post, on N T Wright, dated 6/24/2003, which led to a series of posts on the subject of the meaning of "hoist one's own petard." His list of admirable folks in the Jim West interview almost all used to post on Crosstalk2, where also appear many of the topics and subject matter he refers to in passing in the interview.

Interesting.
He also says "hoist by your own petard" here.
The term is of course from Shakespeare, but he does seem to use it quite a lot.

Here is the link to the discussion on Xtalk2:

Note that Watts got the expression a bit wrong back then (in 2003).
