Post Biblical Salt Poser

I've always wondered why Job turned his wife into a pillow of salt? Wouldn't some softer material have been better, given he was going to spend the next few months in a cave.

What kind of cave was it do you think? It must have been fairly well appointed if it had it's own wine cellar. Perhaps there was already a blanket of salt and a bed of salt. Even if there was I would still have turned her into a sheepskin rug or something. What would you have turned her into?

No, in the English Bible it's Job. I know the American version says Lot, but I seem to remember some confusion over early imports contravening some definition of Job-Lot and had to be changed before they could be sold. It's partly the reason why we never know what the hell you are talking about half the time. This whole thing about there only being twelve apostles is very confusing for us too, as we have thirteen.

does this have anything to do with that time Paul and Jesus went around Jerusalem hiding colored hardcooked eggs for the baby rabbits to find?

No, no, that was Peter. Haven't you ever heard of Peter Rabbit?

Ah'm not kidd'n, laddie. That rodent's a vicious keller. It's got a mean streak a mile wide. And big sharp pointy teeth.
