Cool

Yeah, reminds me of Eternal. Though the comparison isn't entirely fair; Eternal was absurd on purpose.

Hey did you know that Jo was wrong about the year that the Romans left Messada? Yup and classicists knew it all along but due to lack of interdisciplinary communication they just never told Bible scholars or histoirans so they didn't find it out for a long time. This is meitioned in Gena Vermes book on the Dead Sea Scroll. Now Jo was there and he got the year wrong! Now isn't that fishy?

Perhaps Josephus was a pseudonym. But SOMEONE wrote the works attributed to him.

If you can't see the difference between that and Jesus, then you're truly lost.

Duh! The same could be said for Matt, Mark, Luke and John. If you can't see the similarity you are truly lost.

O btw, you are truly lost, i am saved.

all of the same assumptions you think are so clever to dismiss the Gospels can be made agasint anything and if taken seriously could dismiss anything.

Hey, we know the passage was tweeked right? So his text was controled by Christians since every coply took on the tweeking. And he was wrong about the year of an event for which he was present. If it were Matt. we were discussing that's all it would take for you to dismiss it completey.

Shut the fuck up, idiot.

Okay, Metacrock. You win! Neither Josephus nor Jesus existed! I have no problem with that position.

Since John the Baptist is known only through the New Testament and Josephus' writings, can we scratch him off the list too Rodahi?

CLB,

As much as I dislike Metacrock's name-calling and other Christian apologetic tactics, I have not called him a name, nor have many others who have argued with him.

Your comment-- "Shut the fuck up, idiot."-- is inappropriate. The best way to shut him up is with solid, well-supported argumentation.
