Question Which comes first

It seems to me that in order for someone to sincerly proclaim that they have belief and faith in something, that they should know what it is they are referring to. How is it that someone can become "saved" and then decide to read the bible? These people are proclaiming their faith in something they don't know.

The logical path in my opinion would be to read the book, study it and then place your belief in it or not. Sure, it is easy to proclaim your faith in Jesus and God, but for that religion, there is soo much fine print that is disturbing and controversial that I believe would trouble a lot of people that are "believers". They haven't read the book, and perhaps if they had prior to thier surrender to that life, then perhaps their faith wouldn't have been so strong.

Faith comes first which means that the bible must be prior to us by nature and posterior to us through the opinion of others for confirmation.

Amos,
I tried to understand that, could you help me by restating it somehow?

Amos is saying you must first believe by faith, in the Bible which was written before you. Having true knowledge of fact in the existance of God would eliminate your ability to have Faith, thus basing your conversion on fact instead of faith which would show no real reason for God to love you because he only allows people who are Gamblers to be true followers. It is a game God plays. It states that he purposely doesn't give humans enough proof to believe, yet faults them for not believing. Trailer trash type humans play this game all the time, where do you think it came from.... The man tells the woman, someday I will be rich and you will too if you stay with me. If she buys it, they carry on a relationship never to be rich, if she says no I don't belive it, he dumps her and looks for the next credulous woman. The same motif happens in abusive relationship where the promise that he will never hit her again starts the game.
