Question God + Mary?

In the spirit of the season I'm thinking about the birth of Jesus. How come gods having relations with mortal women and producing offspring is considered mythical/legendary in other cultures but the Christmas story is taken at face value?

There is so much about the Bible that amazes me when read critically.

That's because too many people leave their brains at the church door. Metaphorically, of course; they show too little critical sense about their religions, while turning into rigorous rationalists about all other religions.

The spirit of the season is celebrating the birth of the Christ-child from a mythical immortal woman taken at face value.

Is this the same as taking the story of a mythical saint in a red suit at face value?

Because Mary was abducted by aliens and impregnated with an alien halfbreed.

The wise men followed the spacecraft to the manger as it hoevered, waiting for the alien birth.

The alien-halfbreed was blessed with special talents that seemed magical.

He lived his live with his special talents. Spent most of his time trying to correct the barbaric beliefs of those around him.
Even dissapearing at time to take secret instructions from the aliens.

He then was about to give the human race the gift of immortality but we nailed him to the cross and let him die slowly.

The aliens then came down and used their advanced medical techniques to revive him. They gave him a short while to say goodbyes, and they blasted off in the mothership never to be seen from again.

---
I don't see where this could be confused for myth.

'and Jesus was taken to heaven in a cloud'
'cloud' was an ancient Aramaic word meaning 'spaceship'.

Yeah, and Catholics believe the aliens even came back later on and took Mary with them. In Catholic school every year we got a day off on the Feast of the Ascension of Mary.

Why do you think there are so many alien abduction cases ?

Those aliens are back trying to find out if any of jesus genes have been passed on or not. They are trying to eliminate all previous traces of jesus so that he could cum again.
