I received this in my email today. I don't think it can be heard on the net, but I may be wrong. Anyone not listening can call the 800 number to support reason, anyway...

evolution is true (not, I assure you, possible under his terms--but not
really evolution, either). It is possible that Dr. Massimo Pigliucci--a
former debate opponent of Hovind's and a vastly better opponent for him than
I will be--will be able to participate on this show via telephone, at least
for part of the show. (I must also thank for last-minute advice and help--but
hold blameless for my misstatements--Dr. Eugenie Scott and Skip Evans of the
National Center for Science Education.)

I expect lots of unfriendly calls, some of them from ill-informed callers.
Any of you who have the time and inclination to call in will no doubt make a
nice contrast to some of the other callers--and I'll greatly appreciate it.

how active is the buffalo chapter of the Council for Secular Humanism (assuming you belong to it)? i'm in rochester, and i can't seem to find any freethought/atheist groups. buffalo would be a bit of a drive, but better than nothing.

Is this the same Clip Smith that did human-interest stories for Eyewitness News years ago? I seem to recall a jovial but dim-witted talking head.

Hahaha. It must be. Wasn't he the sports guy for awhile too? Eyewitless News, we used to call it. Irv Weinstein: "Baby burned to a crisp. Pictures at eleven."
